Closing Day

Well, today is the day we close on both the condo and the house. It’s set for 2pm EDT. I have to leave school early for this. Obviously, it’s a stressful day here. But one that has long been waited for. I’ll be glad to have this behind me and be writing peacefully from the new house.

I know some authors who thrive on constant change and can write in any condition, but I need my mind free from the daily issues in order to focus on my work. I don’t write well in times of stress.

It snowed today! The end of March and it’s snowing here. Of course, snow is the last thing i wanted when I have to deal with the closings, but odd weather seems to be the norm here any more.

Sorry to keep it short, but I promise more next week when I am a homeowner.

One Response to “Closing Day”

  1. Congratulations, Jeff. Much health, love and happiness in the new home!
