New Puppy

Wow, it’s been a busy week again here. First, we have a new puppy. We drove up to Felicity last Friday and picked up the latest addition to our family, Tuppence. She’s a beautiful little Scottie, and she’s fitting right into the mix here. Scooter is doing well with her, much more patient than I ever thought he’d be. We’re in the midst of potty training her, and we’re starting to see some results, so that’s good. She’s a bit older than we expected. She was 13 weeks, so she’s already been crate trained and she’s very happy with it.

Next Friday we’ll be closing on the new house. Things are going well with that. No problems to speak of. We’re making some alterations to the house ahead of time, such as a fence and a cable modem (so I can continue to write this blog for starters!) Other than that, we’re ready to move in. Having been in the same place for 12 years, it will be a change to be writing from another space.

The biography is going well. I’m deep into the 1940s and I’m into the radio years. It’s a fascinating time, where there were plenty of opportunities for writers to practice their skills in a different medium. I expect that it’s something like eBooks are now.

Speaking of which, my backlist is now available on Kindle. I hope you have a chance to check them out and enjoy.

One Response to “New Puppy”

  1. Obviously, you’re going to need to change Scooter’s name to Tommy!

Congrats on the puppy, the house, the book and Kindle. You’ve got a lot of good things going on!
