A little HGTV in all of us

Wow, what a difference a week makes! We had 2 birthdays, a snow day and a few more things going on.
Painted Bathroom
On top of all that, our future realtor called to say that she had some people who wanted to see our place 4 days before we were listing it. Needless to say, all of the suggestions from the stager were not complete. We had light fixtures on the floor, bags everywhere, and more good intentions than actual changes. So for the past week, we’ve been making changes to every room in the house.
Living Room
I’m posting a few photos of the final product. We were able to get all of the changes done except for the last chandelier. We left that box in the dining room, so the possible buyers what we were planning. We bundled up Scooter in the car, ate dinner at Wendy’s in the car like homeless people and returned home.

The people liked the condo. Their first comment was “Someone here watches HGTV.” True words. It was the favorite of the units they looked at. There will likely be a second showing, hopefully this week. Keep your fingers crossed. The Gardner book could be finished in a new house!

One Response to “A little HGTV in all of us”

  1. Good luck, Jeff. It’s a nasty market, but it sounds like you’re doing all you can.
