If you think of it, shout out a big Happy Birthday to Zorro this coming Sunday. I’ll leave it up to him to tell you how old he is. In a fit of being organized, I’ve already bought his b-day gifts. Want to guess what he’s getting?
And while you’re at it, ask him about being a poll worker at yesterday’s election. I stopped in to take him to lunch and from what I saw, a whole bunch of money is being wasted on ridiculous procedures.
In other news . . . well, there really is no other news. I spent the week working on the revisions for Pepper Martin mystery #4. Those are done and in, and I can go back to the new book I’m working on. We’re still in the “talking” stages about a title for Pepper #4. Since cover conference is coming up, I should know more soon.
In the meantime, got a nice review at www.enchantingreviews.com that includes this snappy praise:
“Filled with great characters and a mystery that keeps unraveling throughout the book everything combines to make “Tombs of Endearment” a definite have-to-read for paranormal mystery fans.”
Reviews like that make writers smile!

Oh my gosh…..its Zorro’s birthday?? The savior of all mankind? Dogs best friend? One of the most wonderful people of all times?
WOW!
But, please don’t ask him about his recent poll experience…no one would ever believe it……ever!

I know exactly what Z’s getting for his birthday — a box set of those naughty books from Ellora’s Cave.
And he was a poll worker? That explains why votes in Cuyahoga County weren’t finished being counted until 4 a.m.

Ah, CR, you’ve let the proverbial cat out of the bag. Now that Zorro knows about the books, I guess I can just give them to him now, and he can start reading.

Happy Birthday Zorro!
And the review isn’t sappy if it’s true.

Not “sappy,” Marissa . . . snappy!
Too funny. And hey, I’m OK with sappy, too, as long as it sells books!

Z, I wouldn’t be dissin’ the Mrs. like that — not if you want your birthday spanking.
Anyway, what was your job on election day? In charge of handing out the stickers? When I get your age, and qualify for poll worker, that’s the job I want.

I was judge #1.
When I arrived at the polls yesterday at 5:30AM, all I could hear everyone chanting was….here come da judge, here come da judge.
By the way, just answering your q. That wasn’t me dissin da Witch, it was some one called 2-birdsof cr’s.
Thought it was you (one of your aka’s) or maybe it was one of our native American friends. Can’t mess with them though cause rumor has it they’re pretty good shots with those bows and arrows!

Casey;
I’m not being critical of the blog, but everytime Z gets involved it just goes downhill. Then C.R. gets involved and it goes even lower. Then they start going at it and…well, you know what happens. I’m just saying…
Actually, I love those guys. We should spin them off, much like a TV show. the Z and CR show. What do you think? I’m just sayin’…
