Cape Fear Crime Festival is this weekend in Wilmington, NC. I’m all for a good trip, and this sounds like a fun one. I fly out this morning and come back on Sunday afternoon.

Of course, anywhere along the ocean is a dream for me. It soothes my soul for some reason. Then cold has come to Ohio, and getting to a more pleasant clime will be a treat as well.

And of course, I love to do mystery events. Mystery is my favorite genre, and I fully expect to come home with an armful of books to read. I am always ordering and reading more books. Many of these I pass off to family members who like to read and then I collect them back, sell them to 1/2 Price Books and start over.

It’s a nice change of pace. I’m “Mr. Marks” all day at school, and getting to talk to adults about mystery is an elusive treat. I don’t get many days to do it, and I always treasure every one. Hope you have a great day.
