When old is new
Well, it’s deja vu all over again. We have OJ out on bail, and familiar names running for the White House. It only seems appropriate that I get on to the band wagon as well.
So I’m very happy to announce that my book, The Scent of Murder, is being re-released this week. Fran Baker of Delphi Books liked the book and agreed me that the book was ready for a new audience. So it’s being released as a paperback this week. I’m thrilled to see it back in print. It’s been one of my best-selling titles and a character that I’m very fond of. She’s loosely based on my sister and her career as a department head of a department store’s cosmetic area.
It was fun making a few edits to the book before re-releasing it. I think that all authors are never quite satisfied with their works, and that last tweak always eludes us with publication. I got to make some changes to the book before its release. Plus I had the delight of working with Robin Young, who was both the graphic artist for the book, and someone I used to babysit a few millenia ago. Sigh, I feel old….
Along with that, next year will be the release of a new Marissa Scott mystery. At Close Range was nearly done when Grace Abraham Publishing closed. I’m glad that it’s found a home, and I hope you’ll enjoy it.
