When I had this dish at Jon & Ruth’s house it served a LOT of people. And it really is killer good. Jon should be stopping by soon to tell us how many people it can feed.

I would wager, judging on your bowls that it would make 15-20 bowls at least.
We had another smaller batch of vegie chili and a total of 22 people over with a fe eating more than one bowl. A very small amount of left overs. Which is cool, because it gets better on the second and third day.

Great chili, Jon! I think it improves on mine.
But what about Ruth’s killer best-ever chocolate cake?

Jon…is this a chili recipe?
I’ll give it a try and let you know what I think. It sounds really good…but not like chile.
When you say spice to taste…with??? regular chile type spices?
Sounds good.

But damn, this looks like one good recipe! Hell, even I might make it work. So Jon, tell me - you gonna serve this up at Bcon? Might make the hospitality room an SRO hit.

cooking for the hospitality room at B-Con…. Hmmmmmmmmmm. I wonder if the hotel would let me use the kitchen?
As far as “Spice to taste” I usually use chili powder, jalepenos, paprika and cumin.
I should also add that the next morning when the whole crew went to to the library event there was not a single occurance of “Excuse me, must have been the chili”….
